3 Easy Tips To Stay Fit This Winter:
1. Take the Stairs!  Forget the elevator and opt for the stairs. Take them 2 at a time to increase the intensity.
2. Active TV watching.  While you are binge watching Netflix, try doing squats or jumping jacks during each segment.
3. Carry a water bottle with you!  Being hydrated not only makes you feel more energized, it can help combat muscle fatigue, and helps your kidneys function better.

Don't lose strength and power this winter! 
 
         Our Power Session II starts next Tuesday, January 12. Give us a call at 502-290-7433 to learn more. Power meters are not required for class. 
 
    Power Session II will go through Thursday, February 25.

2015 TriFest by Headfirst Performance

 VO2 Multisport is proud to be the official shop sponsor of the

2015 TriFest by Headfirst Performance

 
Taylorsville Lake State Park
May 9-10, 2015

Start times:
Saturday - 8:00am
Sunday - 11:00am




This event has something for any level of athlete!  A full weekend of races! 

Tri-Fest is a series of 3 races; a sprint, Olympic and half held over 2 days. The sprint and Olympic take place on Saturday with the half on Sunday. There will also be an aquabike with both the Olympic and half.

What's Happening at VO2 This Spring:
 
Mountain Bike Mondays: 6:00-7:30pm,  Join us for some ruckus fun as we tear through the trails at Cherokee and Seneca park.  Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun.  All levels are welcome. Meet at VO2.

Monday Night Yoga: 6:30pm,  We look forward to Dana keeping us in tip top shape as we go into the Spring season.  This will be a good opportunity to recover from the hard season of working out.  As always class size is free but size is limited.  Call or FB us to let us know if you will be coming.

Wednesday Night Group Rides: 6:00pm and go through 7:30pm.  Great for Intermediate to advanced riders.  This is a not a no drop ride.  Riders of all levels are welcome.  We encourage you to know the route and bring someone who you can ride with too.

 

Kentucky Point Series Races
 
Wild in Waverly is the first race of the series! We've changed to the date to Sunday April 26, 2015 @ Waverly Park.

VO2 is proud to sponsor the Kentucky Point Series race.  There are 8 total races in this series.  Come on in and check out our gear or see us for a bike tune-up!

Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon & miniMarathon!

Registration closes April 15th!


This is the 42nd running of the miniMarathon, which attracts more than 12,000 entrants each year and is ranked among the nation’s top 100 races by USA Track and Field. The Marathon, which started in 2002, gets about 2,000 entrants.

Whether you are running 26.2 miles or 13.1, feel free to stop by for some racing gear or with any training questions.
