It is more important during the holidays than ever to stock your kitchen with healthy foods. Have healthy snacks on-hand. The more convenient they are, the more likely you are to eat them over that piece of pie or sugar cookie. Promise yourself to eat 3 to 5 servings of vegetables each day, instead of thinking about what you shouldn't eat.
#2: Hydrate
Seems easy enough, right? Keep your water bottle with you at all times. You should drink eight, 8-oz glasses of water every day. One handy trick is to buy a 64 ounce water jug. Fill it up in the morning and know that you need to finish it before going to bed each day.
#3: Schedule Your Exercise
You will be very hectic during the holidays. But if you stay on a schedule, you'll be more likely to follow through with exercising. Schedule your workouts just like you would any other appointment. It's ok if you miss a class, but make sure that you get some activity in at least 3 days per week.
